Launching Your Innovation
It all begins with an idea. Identify a need, bring it to us and we’ll help you turn it into a solution, a product, and a business.
How new projects are onboarded and launched in our pipeline.
1. Needs Identification
Projects arise from within clinical practice, initiated by physicians who understand and identify areas for innovation. Breadth and depth of need are confirmed by the BioDesign team through interviews and market research.
2. Ideation
Potential solutions are identified, modeled, and prototyped within BioDesign; leveraging expertise in CAD designs, 3D printing technology, and machining.
3. Iterative Prototyping
Prototypes are put back into the hands of physicians to allow for rapid iterative development. Advanced prototypes are built and prepared for advanced testing & verification.
4. Translational Development
Late-stage prototypes are tested on-site using next-gen phantom, cadaver, or large-animal models.
